Bechara Moufarrej

Born in Lebanon, Bechara Moufarrej is a tenor who has established an international operatic career across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. After completing his Master’s degree in Music in Lebanon in 2009, he continued his vocal studies in Italy, where he refined his technique within the Italian operatic tradition before joining an opera studio in Beirut in 2013.
Throughout his artistic development, he has trained with renowned vocal pedagogues including Michaella Mingheras, Simone Alaimo, Sylvana Ferraro, and Vittorio Terranova, buildisng a solid technical and stylistic foundation rooted in the Italian operatic school.
Bechara has performed a wide operatic repertoire including leading tenor roles such as Don José, Ferrando, and Conte d’Almaviva, appearing in productions across Europe. He has collaborated with ensembles such as the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, Filarmonica Romana, and Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, under the direction of conductors including Toufic Maatouk and Nicola Pascovski.
His career has taken him to opera houses and festivals in Qatar, Dubai, Canada, Italy, and France, including performances at the Opéra de Paris, establishing him as an active presence on the international operatic stage.
