Charles Eid

Tenor | Vocal Coach | Artistic Director

Charles Eid is a Lebanese Mozartian and Rossinian tenor whose artistic journey bridges classical performance, vocal pedagogy, and cultural engagement.

He studied opera for nearly a decade at the Antonine University Music Conservatory under the guidance of Maestro Toufic Maatouk, and further developed his skills through masterclasses and coaching with internationally renowned opera singers and musicians, shaping a refined vocal identity marked by lyrical agility and expressive musicality.

Throughout his career, he has performed a wide repertoire spanning opera, sacred music, and concert works. His operatic roles include works from the bel canto and classical traditions, including Le Nozze di Figaro and L’Elisir d’Amore, while his sacred repertoire includes major works such as the Mass in Honor of Saint Cecilia, Messiah, and Magnificat.

His performances have taken him internationally to countries including Italy, Finland, Brazil, and France, building a growing artistic presence abroad.

In 2022, he participated in the German Lyric Opera Studio Weimar Summer Program, performing in Johann Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus as Alfred and Dr. Blind, an experience that further strengthened his stage versatility.

Alongside his performance career, he has worked as a vocal coach at the Conservatory of Bikfaya in Lebanon, mentoring young singers and contributing to the development of emerging talent.

Since relocating to Paris in 2024, he has remained active in choral and liturgical music, performing with the Musical du Liban Choir and previously with the Chorale Régionale Vittoria d’Île-de-France.

He also serves as coordinator and artistic director of musical and cultural events at Église Saint-Sauveur (Mar Maroun), where he contributes to concerts, liturgical celebrations, and community artistic initiatives.

In parallel with his musical career, he is also an accomplished software engineer, combining artistic excellence with a strong background in technology and innovation.
