Aliénor Khalifé

Aliénor Khalifé was born in Lebanon in September 1997. She took her first piano lessons with Mohammad Sebalbal in Tripoli, then from 2004 with Zvart Sarkissian in Beirut. She was also a student at the National Conservatory of Music in Lebanon for several years. Aliénor moved to Germany at the age of 15 and began her piano studies in Leipzig in the preparatory piano class “Nachwuchsförderklasse” at the University of Music and Theater in the class of Prof. Dietmar Nawroth. She then received her Bachelor of Music at the University of Music and Theater in Rostock in the class of Prof. Stephan Imorde. Aliénor Khalifé graduated in 2023 with a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Music in Detmold in the class of Prof. Alfredo Perl. Aliénor Khalifé participated in masterclasses with Christine Schornsheim, Grigory Gruzman, Evgeni Koroliov and Martino Tirimo among others. She has often played the harpsichord and fortepiano and recently started to take lessons of pipe organ. Aliénor Khalifé regularly performs on lebanese stages, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She gave her first concert with orchestra in 2017 at Saint Joseph Church in Achrafieh with the “Jeunesses Musicales du Liban JML” under the direction of Dr. Walid Moussallem. Aliénor Khalifé gave her debut concert in France in November 2023 at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-du-Liban in Paris. Aliénor Khalifé plays regularly in chamber music ensembles, accompanies singers, and works with her brother, the trumpet player Louis-Justin Khalifé. She has taken part in numerous musical projects, notably in kindergartens, in schools, with amateurs and seniors, because she believes that music should be accessible to everyone. Aliénor Khalifé currently teaches piano at the Music and Art School of Bielefeld. She also works since November 2023 at the University of Music in Detmold as a researcher for the development of degree programs.
