Louisa El Khoury

Louisa El Khoury is a Lebanese dramatic soprano and pianist, recognized for the richness of her timbre and the expressive power of her interpretation.

Trained under her coach and professor Maestro Toufic Maatouk, she further developed her vocal technique and musical approach through masterclasses with renowned artists such as Vincenzo Scalera, Francesco Demuro, Caterina Di Tonno, Gianluca Marcianò, Joyce Khoury, Raquel Paulin, and Maria Zapata.

She has performed as a soloist with the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, the USJ Choir, and internationally with the NDU Choir, appearing in Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Oman. Her festival appearances include Beirut Chants, the AUB Zaki Nassif Program for Music Festival, the AUB Classical Music Club, Beit Tabaris, Sol Festival, Club Social Bacchus, and the Baalbeck International Festival, where in 2025 she participated in Bizet’s Carmen under Maestro Toufic Maatouk as the cover for the role of Frasquita. In September 2025, she performed in Baghdad at the World Heart Hotel.

She is a prizewinner of the 17th International Lyric Competition “San Francesco di Paola” in Italy, where she received three awards, including the Premio Scrittura Artistica, a masterclass at the Royal Opera House Muscat, and an invitation to perform at Teatro alla Scala in Milan with the Associazione Amici del Loggione.

In December 2025, she appeared as a soloist in a major event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, performing in the city’s largest stadium before an audience of more than 25,000 people. Later that month, she made her solo debut at the Abu Dhabi Festival during the Christmas Concert at the Abrahamic House.

She is currently preparing upcoming performances in Europe, as well as a series of concerts in Lebanon and at the Royal Opera House Muscat.
