Grace Medawar
Mezzo-Soprano | Classical Singer | Music Educator
Grace Medawar is an experienced school director and accomplished classical singer with a distinguished career spanning both the education and music sectors. She holds degrees from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, specializing in lyrical and classical singing.
Throughout her professional career, she has developed extensive expertise in music and academic management, budgeting and tax preparation, internal and external auditing, and vocal performance across a wide range of musical styles.
As a performer, she has dedicated her life to sharing her passion for music through both solo and ensemble work. She was a soloist and choir member of the Notre Dame University Choir – Louaize from 1993 to 2016 and has served as both a soloist and member of the Antonine University Choir since 2017.
As a soloist, she has appeared in numerous classical and Baroque concerts, performing works by composers such as Bach, Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Donizetti. Her artistic career has also led her to participate in major national and international festivals and events.
In July 2025, she performed as mezzo-soprano in the role of Mercedes in Bizet’s *Carmen* at the Baalbeck International Festival. Her international performance experience includes tours and concerts in Italy, France, the United States, Brazil, Jordan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Cyprus.
Alongside her classical and choral activities, she is also the lead singer of a live band, performing a diverse repertoire that includes Lebanese classical music, oldies, Latin music, jazz, and pop at weddings, private events, and special occasions.
