Marc Abou Nahoum

Pianist

Born in Zahle, Marc Abou Naoum began his musical journey at age nine, cultivating his craft amidst the tumult of the Lebanese conflicts. A graduate of the National Higher Conservatory of Music under Dr. Walid Mousallem, he later specialized in arranging and orchestration through Berklee Online, defining a career marked by technical precision and creative versatility.

For over two decades, Marc has been a cornerstone of the regional music scene as both a performer and educator. His playing style is a sophisticated synthesis of classical rigor and modern fluidity, approaching Oriental music with a grounded contemporary perspective. This unique artistic identity has made him a premier collaborator for iconic artists including Majida El Roumi, Joumana Medawar, and Abeer Nehme.

Beyond the stage, Marc shares his expertise through innovative workshops at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and Lebanese American University, including “Chords and Colors” and “Around the Piano.” Whether serving as a band leader, pianist, arranger, or educator, he remains dedicated to the integrity of musical expression and the continuous evolution of the craft.
