Mario Rahi
Violinist

Born in Lebanon in 1983, Mario Rahi moved to Rome to pursue his musical studies, earning his diploma from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory under Maestro Claudio Cornoldi. He later obtained his Master’s degree with highest honors from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, studying with Domenico Nordio and Sonig Tchakerian.
In Italy, he served as concertmaster of the World Youth Orchestra and performed as a member of the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra, founded by Ennio Morricone.
Since 2011, Rahi has been a member of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra and a violin professor at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. With the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, he has appeared on numerous occasions as concertmaster and soloist, performing works by Mozart, Saint-Saëns, and Naji Hakim, and appearing in major festivals such as the Beirut Chants Festival and the Al Bustan International Festival.
