Nairy Ghazarian

Cellist | Baroque Specialist | Music Educator
Nairy Ghazarian is an Armenian-Lebanese cellist born in Beirut, specializing in both modern and Baroque performance. She is dedicated to musical education and artistic performance, with a focus on historically informed interpretation and expressive refinement.
She is currently pursuing advanced studies in Baroque Cello at the Conservatorio Guido Cantelli in Novara, Italy, under Professor Gaetano Nasillo, deepening her expertise in early music performance practice. She previously earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors in Teaching and Performing Arts from the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan.
As a performer and music professional, she serves as Principal Cellist and Deputy Director of the chamber ensemble Les Cordes Résonnantes in Lebanon, and has also held leadership roles in music education, including directing the Hamazkayin School of Music. She has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Her work combines artistic excellence with cultural engagement, and she is also known for educational and creative projects such as The Little Cellist, a recording and publication initiative dedicated to Armenian repertoire and musical storytelling.
